how to follow the ceremony in France

An event not to be missed for fans of the 7th art. The prestigious Oscars ceremony takes place this Sunday March 10. The 96th edition will take place in Los Angeles, in the legendary Dolby Theater in Hollywood. The most notable films of the year 2023 will be rewarded with the famous golden statuettes awarded throughout this evening.

It will be possible to follow the ceremony in France. But you will have to be in good shape to not miss anything of this long-awaited ceremony which, due to the time difference, will take place during the night of Sunday March 10 to Monday March 11. The encrypted channel Canal+ will broadcast the event once again. The broadcast will begin at 11:10 p.m. on Channel 4 with the traditional red carpet and then the ceremony. The show is expected to last just under four hours.

The presentation of this evening was entrusted to the American comedian Jimmy Kimmel. The hit movie Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, leads the nominations (13). France hopes to see triumph Anatomy of a Fall. Justine Triet’s feature film received no less than five nominations, notably in the categories of best film, best direction and best original screenplay. In the running for the best actor statuette for his role in BarbieRyan Gosling will perform the hit I‘m Just Ken on stage at the Dolby Theater this Sunday.
