The Poison/Water type Pokémon, Vorasteria, debuted in Pokémon Go in September 2022 during the Fashion Week event. He reappeared as a wild apparition during the “Aquamarine Shores” habitat hour of the Pokémon Go Festival.

Vorastery was first introduced in the Alola region of Pokémon Sun & Moon on Nintendo 3DS. It is known in the Pokédex as the Brutal Star Pokémon and evolves into Toxapex when you have collected enough Candy.

How to get Vorasteria in Pokémon Go

There are several ways to encounter Vorastery in Pokémon Go:

You can use Incense or Lure Modules to increase your chances of encountering a Vorastery in the wild, although this does not guarantee that you will find one this way. Using the ‘nearby’ feature could also help, as this shows a variety of Pokémon that are close to your location.

If you’re looking for a sure way to find a Vorastery, try fighting it as a Raid Boss. Being a Poison/Water type Pokémon, it is weak against Electric, Ground, and Psychic type attacks. Once defeated, you will have the chance to capture it.

You can also encounter a Voraster in Pokémon Go by completing the Field Research missions ‘Make 5 Great Throws’ or ‘Make 3 Great Effect Throws in a row’.

How to evolve Vorasteria into Toxapex in Pokémon Go

Vorasteria can evolve into Toxapex with the help of 50 Candies. No special items or Buddy missions are required for this evolution, making it a relatively easy (and economical) evolution process.

If you’re having trouble earning enough Candy, remember to use Nanana Berries when capturing Vorasteria in the wild. You can also set Vorasterie as your Buddy to get extra Candy during your explorations.
