To try to solve part of the problem, the platforms allow users to report a publication – which will later be analyzed by a specialized moderation team.

How to report a post on TikTok from iPhone/iPad
Open TikTok and when you come across content that you think is inappropriate, tap and hold your finger on it. Then select “Report” and choose one of the topics shown on the screen. Then, select a subcategory (if necessary) and go to “Send”.
After submitting the report, tap “View your reports” to check their status.
How to report a TikTok post on the web
Access the TikTok website and, when you find the video you want to report, place your mouse cursor over it and click on “Report” in the upper right corner.
