The United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) issues a cordial invitation to the community to register their names for the agency’s innovative robotic lunar rover, known as VIPER, an acronym for Exploration Rover. Polar Volatile Researcher.

Throughout its 100-day mission, VIPER will travel several kilometers, exploring crater rims and eventually entering permanently shadowed craters, among the coldest in our solar system, to collect samples of different types of soils and lunar environments.
