By default, Apple devices connect to Wi-Fi networks using a unique private network addresscalled the media access control address (media access controlor MAC).
However, if a network cannot use a private address or no longer allows access to the network or the internet after you join it, there are steps you can take to stop using a private Wi-Fi address with it.
Remember, other than the scenarios described above, it is recommended that you always keep them private.

How to Temporarily Disable Private Wi-Fi Address on iPhone/iPad
Open Settings, tap “Wi-Fi” and the “i” next to the network in question. Then disable “Private Wi-Fi Address” and confirm with “Continue”.
How to Temporarily Disable Private Wi-Fi Address on Apple Watch
In the case of the Apple smartwatch, it is possible to do this in two ways. The first is to open the Control Center (by pressing the side button), then keep your finger pressed on the Wi-Fi icon, selecting the network name and unchecking “Private Address”.
Then, confirm with “Disconnect”, as the Apple Watch will be temporarily disconnected from the network.
The second way to do this is by opening Settings, tapping “Wi-Fi” and the network name. Then, follow the same steps.
