The current tenth in the German championship is looking for a successor to the French international Marcus Thuram who will leave at the end of his contract next June.
La Gantoise striker Hugo Cuypers is in the sights of Borussia Mönchengladbach, according to Bild. The German club is under the spell of the Belgian striker and has checked his name to replace Marcus Thuram.
Whether the Buffalos will agree to let the 26-year-old leave next summer remains to be seen. The Ghent top scorer has 21 goals and five assists in 44 matches this season.
