Hundreds of lawsuits against energy suppliers – energy market

Verbund AG, Tiroler Tiwag and Salzburg AG are not the only energy suppliers with whom consumer advocates are at loggerheads. Lawsuits have been brought against around a dozen – including numerous state energy suppliers – because customers are confronted with price increases or because they were kicked out because of their contracts and price guarantees were terminated.
