Dubai: Sri Lankan opener Kushal Mendis was out on the very first ball he faced in the Asia Cup final against Pakistan. Mendis was bowled by Naseem Shah. That too in one inswinger. This video is also viral on social media.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka is recovering from an early slump. At one point, Lanka were at 58 for five when they finally got the information and they scored 136 runs for the loss of six wickets in 17 overs. Bhanuka Rajapaksa (45) and Chamika Karunaratne (8) are at the crease. Apart from Mendis, the wickets of Wanindu Hazaranka (36), Pathum Nissanka (8), Dhananjaya D’Silva (28), Dhanushka Gunathilaka (1) and Dasun Shanaka (2) were lost. Harris Rauf has three wickets. Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed shared the remaining wickets.
Earlier, Pakistan made two changes. Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah are back. and Usman Qadir were out. Sri Lanka kept playing last. The Dubai pitch has a history of winning by the team that bats second. Sri Lanka is preparing for the final with the strength of defeating Pakistan by five wickets in the Super Four.
