Today, Sunday, the Saudi Astronomical Society in Jeddah reported that an astronomical phenomenon will be witnessed in the sky of Cairo and the Arab world in the coming hours, represented in the conjunction of the diminishing humpback with Jupiter, which is called the giant of our solar system, as the phenomenon continues throughout the night, and is seen with the naked eye in an attractive aesthetic scene.

The Astronomical Society indicated, in a report, that the timing of the conjugation phenomenon will be within one day of the full moon, as the percentage of illumination of the moon’s disk will be 96%, in addition to the convergence of the moon and Jupiter by which the dome of the sky is known, and thus the moon is away from Jupiter by about 377,000 kilometers only. The association added that studies indicate that Jupiter is the fourth brightest planet in the world of space, after the sun, moon and Venus, explaining that seeing the phenomenon comes by viewing the planet as a bright white point in order to monitor it with the naked eye, and thus clarify more through binoculars or telescope viewing. young.
The association noted that during the continuous monitoring and control of the moon, it is noticed that its movement is directed to the east next to the stars and planets, and therefore we find on the second day a noticeable departure of the moon from Jupiter, heading towards the east.
