The husband who appeared on the show that day did not try to talk about money with his wife. The reason was that she thought her wife didn’t know much about her finances. When her wife asked to see her loan papers, she expressed her discomfort by saying, “What are you going to do to see how much her debt is?” Her husband had a debt of 290 million won due to a total of three failed investments.
In an interview, the wife said that she recently found out about the debt, and that her husband had previously written a memorandum to show her money-related documents, but she did not inform her about the loan.
The husband said, “My wife doesn’t know much about economics. She can’t even tell the difference between a check card and a credit card.” Her wife admitted, “I don’t know much about the economic part. She also knew about the subscription bankbook after getting married. She didn’t know much.”
In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young asked, “Couples have a lot of things to do together. When getting a loan, of course you have to discuss it. Oh Eun-young said, “I was so surprised. From the beginning to the end, my husband said, ‘Since you don’t know about the economy, can you solve this situation even if you know it?'” It doesn’t matter how much your wife knows about the economy. It’s important that I didn’t do it and took out a loan,” she said.
Oh Eun-young said, “I don’t think this is it. Apart from the fact that I’m a doctor and a specialist, I’m telling you as a senior in life. You’re scolding your husband. You shouldn’t do that. You should discuss it.”
