Hyundai Capital decided to defer claims for up to six months for customers who were damaged by the heavy rain to repay in July and August. During the claim grace period, interest and fees are fully exempted. In addition, if a member affected by torrential rain is in arrears, debt collection activities will also be suspended for six months.
Counseling and document submission for this support program are available through Hyundai Capital’s representative number. Damaged customers can submit a damage confirmation issued by the local government office within three months from the date of damage.
An official from Hyundai Capital said, “We decided to provide emergency financial support to help customers who suffered various losses due to unexpected heavy rains.”
