The South Korean company Hyundai discontinued the luxury Dynasty model, and replaced it with its counterpart Aslan in 2014. The new car resembles the rear-wheel drive Genesis, which is manufactured by the same company, both internally and externally, despite sharing the platform with Hyundai Grandeur, its starter in 1986, and known since 2005 With “Azera”.
Aslan, which is a Turkish word meaning lion, was available between 2014 and 2016, with a six-speed automatic transmission, and it increased to eight speeds starting from 2017. Hyundai decided to stop production of that car, which received front-wheel drive, in late 2017.
