From the dock of the accused, the former Attorney General of the Republic, Jesus Murillo Karamdefended the so-called “Historical Truth” of the Ayotzinapa case, which establishes that the 43 normalistas were kidnapped, murdered and burned in the garbage dump of Cocula, Guerrero.
In Wednesday’s hearing at the North Prison, in which it will be decided if he is to be prosecuted for the crimes of forced disappearance, torture and obstruction of justice, Murillo Karam stated categorically that for seven or eight years they have been looking for alternatives, they have invented many, and all have fallen around the events that occurred on September 26 and 27, 2014.
He assured that he requested the participation of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF), which, he said, participated absolutely in the entire investigation and also chose the place of analysis of the skeletal remains located in the San Juan River and as from the other place, it is say the Cocula Garbage Dump.
