Spanish actress Heba Abouk, the former partner of Moroccan full-back Ashraf Hakimi, revealed that she goes to a psychiatrist regularly, and that she does not regret the failure of her marriage to the Paris Saint-Germain player because she did everything she could.
Abouk, who has Libyan-Tunisian roots, asked for a divorce from Hakimi, after he was accused of raping a young French woman on February 27. When she demanded half of his wealth, she discovered that he owned nothing, and that all his property, including jewelry, real estate, and financial wealth, was registered in his mother’s name.
Abouk told Elle Magazine: There are days when I’m fine and other days you have to know how to take the blows and sometimes make complicated decisions.
And she continued: When you go through the experience of separation, you have to restructure your life, the important thing is that my mind is comfortable now because I tried and did everything I could, I needed time to absorb the shock.
She added: My priority is not my work, it is my little family, it is my children, and my happiness comes first by being with them and seeing them grow up instead of going away to film for six months.
She concluded by saying: I go to the psychiatrist once a week. Mental health is very important, I don’t feel sorry or remorseful.
