The facts date from last month in Ghent. Today, a 50-year-old man faces a 6-month prison sentence and a fine. He even acknowledges the facts, and gives a completely haphazard explanation: “It’s been two months since I’ve seen my wife“, he told the police. “And I suddenly thought of all the things that I missed. I apologize.”
The 50-year-old was at a bus stop with two underage girls. These two teenagers then witnessed a traumatic scene. The man plunged his hand into his pants to masturbate in front of them.
The ordeal lasted several minutes for the two young people, until their parents arrived. They then notified the police, according to the Flemish site Het Laatste Nieuws. The man tried to flee when the police arrived, and attacked a police officer by kicking him in the stomach with a roller skate. The defendant will know his sentence in January.
