Al-Marsad newspaper: The Kuwaiti Criminal Court sentenced the woman accused of killing her daughter in the Salmiya crime to life imprisonment, after she locked her in the toilet for 5 years until her body decomposed.
A source revealed that the court considered that this punishment is the one that the accused deserves, according to the law.
The father’s defense said, “Although life imprisonment is a death sentence, we will appeal the ruling on appeal, and demand the execution of the accused,” according to what Al-Qabas reported.
It is reported that the accused mother has denied the charges against her, and confirmed that she did not intend to kill her daughter, but rather meant to imprison her to control her, and when she discovered her death, she did not disclose the matter for fear of being accused of murder and imprisoning her.
