The body of a woman in her 20s, who was attracting attention as a rising model in Hong Kong, was found in a refrigerator.
According to The Sun on the 24th (local time), parts of a young woman’s body were found in the refrigerator of a beachside rental house 30 minutes from the city center. The refrigerator also contained identification and credit cards believed to belong to the victim.
The victim was identified as Abby Choi (28). After searching the entire city, police arrested her ex-husband. Her former parents-in-law and brother-in-law were also caught.
The police only identified the woman as a 28-year-old model with the surname ‘Choi’, but later the South China Morning Post (SCMP) identified her as her father.
Abby Choi was last seen on Tuesday (21st) close to where the body was found.
Police said the rental house where the body was found was rented a few weeks ago by her ex-father-in-law, and that it was a “premeditated and well-planned murder.”
It is known that Abby Choi had a financial dispute with her ex-husband’s family totaling 100 million Hong Kong dollars (16.8 billion won).
