Mansoor Ali Khan is an actor who has acted in many films with Vijay. The actor first gained attention through his cruel villain roles and later came to comedic roles as well. After 27 years, Mansoor Ali Khan is going to act opposite Vijay in ‘Leo’.
Mansoor’s words about Vijay’s early days are now noteworthy. Mansoor is talking about their reward. “To tell the truth, I was paid Rs 4 lakh and Vijay Rs 2 lakh for a film back then.”
“It was only because of his efforts that he rose from that stage. Films are everything for Vijay. He goes up to 40 takes for one dance step. If it were me, I would dance twice.”
“I used to say that this is all I can do. But Vijay spends so much time for a single shot. Leo made them scene by scene,” says Mansoor Ali Khan.
Meanwhile, Mansoor also clarified about not acting in Lokesh’s ‘Kaiti’ movie. “I was told to meet SR Prabhu, the producer of Kaiti. Lokesh had said that I should do the role.”
“But when the opportunity came, I was arrested and sent to Puzhal Jail. “They could not have said this because there were obvious reasons,” says Mansoor. The actor was arrested in 2018 following his controversial remarks against the Chennai-Salem Expressway.
