Kuwait City: ICC One Day Cricket World Cup trophy has arrived in Kuwait. The trophy was brought to Kuwait as part of a tour organized ahead of the World Cup matches to be held in India in October. The trophy will be taken to Bahrain tomorrow. This trophy, which travels around 18 countries before the start of World Cup matches in India, arrived in Kuwait from Bangladesh.
Kuwait Cricket Association officials, ICC representatives and ambassadors of various countries received the trophy at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The exhibition at the hotel was for invited guests only. However, the trophy will be displayed for cricket fans from 5 pm today at Sulaibia Cricket Ground. There is a plan to deliver the trophy to the main centers of Kuwait such as the Grand Mosque, Kuwait Tower, Jabir Bridge and Souq Sharqia today. Apart from Kuwait, the trophy in the Gulf, which spans various countries, has another host in Bahrain. After completing the tour in Kuwait, the World Cup will be in Bahrain tomorrow and the day after.
