“If Grzegorz Krychowiak were to return to Poland, it would only be to this club”

Grzegorz Krychowiak could join Legia Warsaw? The midfielder would certainly consider such an offer if he received it – informs Tomasz Włodarczyk.

Grzegorz Krychowiak has been a free agent since July, as his contract with the Arab Abha has expired. Although his club has been relegated, the player himself has performed well. So well that he has earned a reputation on the Saudi Arabian market. Now, two clubs are to negotiate with him. However, the teams are under the financial jurisdiction of the Saudi government, so they must approve the signing of the contract if such an agreement were to be reached.

At the moment these are just negotiations, nothing has been finalized yet. Krychowiak has two clubs from the Arabian Peninsula in his CV – the aforementioned Abha and Al-Shabab.

Some time ago, there were speculations that the Pole could join Legia Warsaw. This would make sense, because, as we remember, Krychowiak trained with the “Army” team before the World Cup in Qatar, because the season in Saudi Arabia ended almost a month before the tournament, and the player had to be in good physical shape.

Włodarczyk, on the other hand, has learned that there are currently no talks between the player and the third team of the last Ekstraklasa season. As the journalist learned, if the 34-year-old received an offer from the capital, he could consider it. The 100-time representative of Poland left his homeland 17 years ago, in 2007 he left Arka Gdynia for Girondins de Bordeaux.

– From what I know, if “Krycha” were to return to Poland, it would only be to Legia. I guess he also respects Dariusz Mioduski. I think this relationship is very good. Maybe we started some negotiations at this table (laughter). I would like to see Krychowiak in the Ekstraklasa – said the journalist in the “Okno Transferowe” program.
