‘If the party insists on shrinking to itself, it will not accept’ Pinarayi Vijayan | CPIM

Palakkad: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said that sectarianism among CPM leaders will not be accepted for any reason. Pinarayi clarified at the Palakkad district conference that if the leaders try to become themselves without giving in to the party, the leadership will take a decision on its own. In his reply to the organizational report, the Chief Minister criticized the rivalry in the Area Committee.

There was a detailed discussion on the sectarian tendencies in the Puthussery, Kollangode and Kuzhalmandam area committees. The Chief Minister warned the leaders in response to the organizational report. The defeat of the Kongad MLA in the Area Committee is a testament to the personal interest of the leaders. This was to be avoided. The unwillingness to consider women is a matter of attitude of some. The suspension of local and area conferences is evidence of the state unit’s disapproval of the proposal.

If anyone insists that the party shrinks to itself, the leadership will not accept it. Not only against them but also those who form alliances with them will have no place in the party. Do not forget that if there is a movement, everyone can survive. The widespread allegations of corruption against the co-operative banks, on which the common man depends, will send the wrong message to the society. Many are turning the position of bank director into a means of earning money. The Left government continued to rule because the people trusted the party and the government. The Chief Minister explained the development achievements of the government and the projects including the Silver Line.
