Jayasurya and I became friends through Vinayan sir’s wild copper. Our friendship is still strong. I used to shoot more films in Jayan. Beautiful, Trivandrum Lodge, California, David and Goliath were all films we did together.
At that time, Ranjeetan told me that you are also an actor. A screenwriter can do a maximum of one or two films in a year. The maximum scripts I could do in the last nine years were sometimes around 10. But now in that time I have acted in about 100 films.
We made that one decision together. After that, Jayan got to be a part of good movies like Vaali and Captain. On the other hand, I also got to do films like Paavada and Vikramadityan. If we had stayed together at that time, we both would have left like that. After doing the same kind of films, we would end up hating each other after a while.
