if you don’t understand the MCU anymore, it will all become clear soon

This has been one of the keys to its success since the first Iron Man released in 2008. The Expanded Cinematic Universe (MCU) allows Marvel to gradually expand its story with many ramifications. Phase 3 ended in a grand way at the cinema with the excellent Avengers : Infinity Waret Avengers : Endgame.

Since then, the whole thing has become even more complex because in addition to feature films on the big screen, Disney+ also regularly offers series who are an integral part of this universe. While the main antagonist was previously clearly identified as Thanos, things are a little less clear here.

“Spectators will soon see more clearly on our roadmap”

Certainly, season 1 of Loki helped introduce Kang. Played by Jonathan Majors, this character is able to travel through time and between different multiverses. It remains to be seen whether he will be the enemy to defeat or whether Marvel will offer another rival to his superheroes.

And precisely, this subject was broached by Kevin Feige, the boss of Marvel Studios during a recent interview with Total Film. He wants to be reassuring and explains thus: As we near the end of Phase 4, I think people will start to see where the next saga is going. And the leader adds:

I think there have already been many clues, which are at least apparent to me, of where this whole saga is headed. But we’ll be a little more direct about it in the months to come, in order to lay out a plan, so that viewers who want to see the big picture can understand a little bit more of the roadmap.

Kevin Feige did not say more, but several options are on the table. This could in particular be done in the next Thor : Love and Thunder which will be released on July 13 at the cinema. But it is also possible that it goes through Black Panther : Wakanda Forever which we will find on November 9th in French dark rooms.
