Engineering a shift away from its traditional camera support ecosystem, iFootage has launched the RB200 3-in-1 Charging Station at an MSRP of $99.00 USD, featuring a Qi2.2-certified magnetic pad and a flexible 360-degree articulated arm designed for desktop content creators.
TEC Module Prevents Thermal Throttling During Rapid Charging
The primary magnetic charging head outputs up to 25W of rapid power to compatible smartphones. Sustaining high-wattage wireless induction without triggering thermal throttling requires rigorous engineering. To combat this physical limitation, iFootage integrated a custom Thermoelectric Cooling (TEC) module alongside active air-cooling technology.
This active thermal management system draws heat directly away from the mobile device interface. It maintains steady charging velocities during extended desktop sessions. Alongside the primary smartphone pad, the station features simultaneous induction coils to power an Apple Watch and wireless earbuds. Ten built-in safety layers monitor the circuitry, guarding against overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit irregularities.
Articulated Arm Allows Versatile Phone Positioning
The defining structural deviation from standard desktop pucks is the integrated 360-degree articulated arm. Built out of durable materials native to the manufacturer’s heavy-duty production gear lineage, the multi-angle arm transforms the charging base into a versatile camera mount or monitoring station. Creators can physically reposition their phone from a standard upright viewing angle down to a low-angle monitoring setup or a top-down overhead b-roll capture angle.
For mobile setups, the magnetic charging head is entirely detachable. Users can unmount the core charging component from the desktop arm and deploy it independently on the go. Available in black and white colorways, the RB200 is currently shipping directly through the official iFootage US site and authorized global retail networks.
