During IGN Fan Fest 2023, the developers of Starward Industries present us with a new trailer for their first game, The Invincible. It is, as a reminder, the video game adaptation of a science fiction novel by Polish author Stanisław Lem. We will have the opportunity to walk on an inhospitable desert planet, where we are promised decisive philosophical choices and breathtaking landscapes. In its preview last October, Fcp had still struggled to find the playful component in this “vaguely interactive ride”.
Hopefully a good chunk of the promises are kept and that the presence of former renowned game developers has some use. We can check it when it comes out, still scheduled on Steaml’Epic Games Store et GoG pour 2023.
