Anyone who has spent the last few days walking by the Dymaion Coast will see the great progress in the work being done in the commercial park that IKEA is opening, on the site of the former ABEX factory.
THE construction company which has undertaken the construction of avmakes “turns” and has now completed the work for the two central buildings in which the shops will be housed and we are talking about a commercial “giant” that will change the “map” in the city.
According Peloponnese information has “locked” and date the shopping park will open and it will be – unexpectedly – her Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
For this reason, for a few days now The companyvia the internet and special platforms, requests dozens of employees for various specialties to be hired ahead of the opening of the shopping center.
According to the company’s design, the two main buildings will be placed parallel to each other, creating an open-air commercial arcade, where the entrances of the shops are foreseen.
The main parking lot (319 spaces, including 1 electric vehicle charging space) it will be located on the roof of the buildings that are integrated with pedestrian and wheeled crossings, creating an interesting portico roof, with large openings, covered with translucent light structures.
The ground floor of the first building, with a total construction area of 3.7 thousand square meters will have five stores, while on the ground floor of the second building with a total construction area of 5.3 thousand square meters, the new IKEA store will be installed (on the ground floor and part of the basement) with an entrance and exit placed towards the shopping arcade.
Between the two buildings, at the back of the shopping arcade, it is planned to build a small independent store.
In the basement there will be the office spaces of the IKEA store, as well as other stores, while according to the schedule, the surrounding area will be completed by the summer.
