Rumors around the Silent Hill 2 remake are not new. Many insiders have revealed their little scoop here and there to give hope to fans of Konami’s survival horror. For a few hours, however, images of the supposed Silent Hill 2 Remake have been circulating on the Internet, Reddit and social networks, stating that these are very old screenshots and which are not representative of today’s result, much more advanced. According to the information that accompanies these 3 shots a bit much fuzzy, it would be an early version that the Bloober Team studio would have pitched to Konami long before having the green light from the Japanese publisher to start production. . What we will remember above all from these images is the change in structure made by this remake, with a camera placed near the shoulder of the character, recalling what was done with Resident Evil 4 in 2004. A choice of game design which thus proves that it will be a big overhaul in the gameplay, with a more visceral approach. And when we know that Bloober Team remains quite evasive when we talk to them about Silent Hill, there is hope.
