Fans awaiting the December 18 release of Dune: Part Three will soon have an immersive way to step onto the sands of Arrakis. Dune: The Experience opens on November 20, 2026, transforming a 31,500-square-foot space at 330 S Alameda St in the Arts District of DTLA into a desert world inspired by Frank Herbert’s novels and Denis Villeneuve’s cinematic universe.
The multisensory attraction, which is part of the Dune franchise from Legendary Entertainment, offers visitors a chance to test themselves against trials from the films. Tickets are currently on sale for the Los Angeles engagement.
Inside the Immersive Journey Through the Imperium
The interactive journey begins inside a screening room featuring a personal welcome message from Denis Villeneuve. From there, visitors step directly into the atmosphere of the saga, moving into an austere Bene Gesserit chamber to recite the Litanie contre la peur and face the Gom Jabbar test of self-control.
The path continues past the written history of Arrakis, a decoded hidden message, and a labyrinth guided by floating luminous globes. The experience combines museum-grade exhibition spaces with environmental storytelling designed to engage sight, sound, and narrative.
Weapons, Costumes, and the Arrakian Vault
Beyond the interactive challenges, the exhibition houses the Arrakian Vault, a collection of authentic screen-used props, weapons, and costumes worn by the cast. Visitors can also sit on the throne of Paul Atreides for photographs.
The journey concludes in a desert environment combining scale, sound, and atmospheric effects. The space features the screen-used Cicada ornithopter, the sound of a Fremen Thumper, and a colossal sandworm equipped with Creators’ hooks rising from the sand. The route exits through the Sietch Commons, where themed food and drinks are served.
