Thrissur: An elderly man who went missing during a train journey has been found. Kannankutty Nair (74), a native of Thrissur and a resident of Nataraja Garden, Tiruvottiyur Street, Chennai, was found near Erode Railway Station. Kannankutty went missing while traveling on the Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai mail on Friday.

Kannankutty Nair, who was traveling to Chennai with his family in sleeper class, reached another coach in search of a washroom. By this time the TTE had arrived and as he did not have a ticket, he would have been dropped on the platform to continue his journey in the general compartment. Kannankutty Nair, who has memory loss, walked out of the station instead of entering the general compartment.
