The parents of pupils of this village school are worried. In the town of Boëge, in Haute-Savoie, some schoolchildren develop a mysterious allergy. Within the establishment, children and adults suffer itching, redness, pimples as soon as they are in class. For two school children, the situation is even more worrying since they can no longer come because of their symptoms.
For now, no cause has been identified. During the February holidays, a complete disinfection of the premises was organized. “What is very disturbing is that this school is eight years old and there has never been a problem. We have not changed cleaning products, nor firewood pills, nor a supplier. So there you have it, I am a little disarmed”, explained the mayor of the town, Fabienne Scherrer, quoted by France bleu.-
Other air analyzes are currently underway and the results should be known soon between April 15 and 20. “We actually have no idea what is causing these allergic reactions. Apparently there is an allergy. But what allergy? To which products? And that, no one apparently knows. And we, we have a bit of the impression of emptying the sea with a small spoon because we are looking in all directions”, completes the city councilor.
