Earlier, we already wrote that in Karaganda they will put in order the territory in the Central Park, where snow and ice were brought from the skating rink. The fact is that in winter it became necessary to transport snow to a small lake due to the fact that the snow range was closed for some time. Residents of Karaganda were indignant when they saw this, as well as the fact that along with the snow, random garbage was also taken here. The territory was promised to be removed. Residents are closely monitoring the situation. Today, another complaint from the population was published on the Instagram page eKaraganda.kz.

People write that the territory is still not cleaned up:

“On April 4, there was a publication about mountains of snow on the far side of a small lake in the Central Park of Karaganda. I remember that the mayor of the city then instructed to clear these heaps and put everything in order there! But! A month has passed, and having been there, we see the same picture, only with a pile of dirt, snow that has not yet melted, ruined trees, lilacs that are unlikely to bloom, garbage with New Year’s tinsel and other nightmares! ”- writes a resident of the city.

The Parks and Recreation Authority responded to this message and replied that the snow had not yet completely melted. Gradually, the garbage is removed in those places where the territory has dried up:

“Garbage is removed daily after the snow and ice melt. And besides, dumping ice from the rink is the only way to feed the third lake, since it currently has no natural tributaries,” the ministry said.
