The Sverdlovsk District Court of Kostroma sentenced the coach of the women’s football team to five and a half years in a strict regime colony for indecent acts against three girls under the age of 16 and sex with one of them. About it reported in the telegram channel of the court.
The accused pleaded guilty in full, explaining that he spent a lot of time with the players, was in a relationship with one of the girls, was in love with her, and also sympathized with the rest.
The coach was found guilty of crimes under Part 3 of Art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (commission of indecent acts without the use of violence against two or more persons under the age of 16) and under Part 1 of Art. 134 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 16).
In addition to imprisonment, the coach is deprived of the right to engage in activities related to the upbringing and training of persons under the age of 18 for five years.
RBC sent a request to the Sverdlovsk court of Kostroma.
In January, the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Kostroma Region announced the detention of a coach on suspicion of harassing minor athletes.
The Telegram channel “Mutko vs.” reported that three football players of the famous Kostroma club “Panthera”, aged 15-16, testified against the coach. According to them, they have been in a very close relationship with him since 2020.
