In love, presenters “packed” from the airwaves

Scandal in the middle of American television when the star presenters of the show “GMA3: What You Need to Know” were suspended after the revelation of their idyll.

ABC News President Kim Godwin announced Monday that Amy Robach and TJ Holmes will not be hosting their show for the next few days.

According to Ms. Godwin, their alleged relationship between the two colleagues would have become too much of a “distraction” both internally and with the general public, reports the New York Post.

“After much consideration, I have decided to take Amy and TJ off the air until this whole story is cleared up.”

The relationship between the two journalists would not contravene the internal regulations of the American news channel. The decision was reportedly made to protect the brand image of “Good Morning America.”

The anchor-star of the morning edition of “GMA”, Robin Roberts, would not have liked the “scandal” at all.

“She’s not just very pious. She doesn’t like that kind of scandal tainting her show,” a source reportedly told Page Six.

Rumors of Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ relationship came to light last week when they were reportedly seen flirting in bars near ABC studios.

Their romance dates back to last spring when they separated from their respective spouses, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue.
