Today, February 17, he would have been 97 years old, Friedrich Cerha died three days ago. The Ö1 concert dedicates a special edition to the composer, conductor, performer and scientist with discussions and excerpts from his best-known works.
Four guests take a seat in the studio: the composer Kurt Schwertsik, who founded the ensemble die reihe with Friedrich Cerha in 1958, the violinist and conductor Ernst Kovacic, the journalist and former Ö1 editor Reinhard Kager, and the musicologist Gundula Wilscher, who inherited the legacy of the composers managed.
