While the magic of the holidays reaches the town of Jodoigne, a feeling of sadness took over the town on this Saturday, December 2. Municipal councilor Didier Joyeux left us unexpectedly following a cardiac arrest during the morning.
A true jack-of-all-trades, passionate in everything he did, Didier was a political personality who shone through his empathy, his joie de vivre and his concern for others.
Always smiling, he brought his constructive touch to the Municipal Council, always listening to the citizen and the members of the Municipal Council as a whole.
Member of the Saint-Jean-Geest Church Factory, municipal councilor, passionate about 4x4s, boats, horses… he gave 200% in everything he did and prioritized his family.
The Municipal Council and the three political groups that make it up are unanimous, an entire municipality is in mourning following the death of Didier Joyeux, broke in the prime of his life and still full of projects.
A minute of silence will be observed during the Municipal Council on December 19.
All our thoughts are with his wife Laurence, their children and grandchildren.
