On the evening of May 3, telegram channels began to spread information about the arrival of TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov in Mariupol.
In particular, a photo appeared in which Solovyov is standing in a helmet and body armor against the background of the checkpoint of the Ilyich Iron and Steel Works. Next to him is the head of the DNR, Denis Pushilin.
On Solovyov’s telegram channel, this photo was published with the comment: “All the details will be in the morning show tomorrow.”
A little later, Solovyov’s press service confirmed his trip. The report says that he and Pushilin “inspected the city, visited the Ilyich Plant, the seaport of Mariupol”, and also “talked on the streets with residents and Russian military personnel.”
