Vladimir Putin said today that Russia would find out who was behind the attack on a Moscow concert hall that killed at least 144 people.
“We will definitely reach out to those who finally gave the order to do it,” said Mr Putin during a meeting with officials of the Ministry of Interior. “We paid a very high price and the whole analysis of the situation must be extremely objective and professional,” he said.
According to the protothema, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, and US officials have said that their intelligence services have information that it was carried out by its affiliate in Afghanistan, the Islamic State-Khorasan (ISIS-K). THE Russia has stated that it has evidence showing that the terrorists had links with her Ukrainea claim denied by Kiev while the United States dismissed it as nonsense.
