The funeral ceremony began at noon. Not only relatives and teammates came to say goodbye to Vsevolod Malkov, but also all the indifferent members of the SKA team. The footage posted online shows hundreds of people going to pay their respects to the 14-year-old athlete who showed great promise in the sport and could become the next Ovechkin or Kovalchuk.

After the funeral ceremony, the coffin with the body of Vsevolod was loaded into a hearse and taken to the Church of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God in St. Petersburg. The funeral of the athlete will be held at the Smolensk cemetery, where such famous people as director Alexei Balabanov, singer Eduard Khil, singer Lyudmila Senchina and many others have found their last refuge.
