As announced yesterday by the EEC, Apollon was placed in the 2nd Group of National League 1 (2nd National). Aeolos Agyias and neofotistos in National League 1, Prometheus 2014 were placed in the same Group. Along with them were placed Ethnikos Livadeias, Lixouri, GS Sofadon, Ethnikos Piraeus, Panhellinios, N. Kifisia, Trikala, Ilysiakos and Tritonas.
Aegaleo, APAS Naxos Ta Fanaria, Dafni, Paneleussiniakos, P. Faliro, OFI, Esperos, ASA Anagennisi, Pagrati, Cholargos, Amyntas and Milonas were placed in the 1st Group.
In the 3rd Group, Philippos Verias, Komotini, Lefkippos Xanthi, DEKA, MGS Gephyras, AEPS Mahites Piramaticos, Panserraikos, KAOdramas, Niki Volos, AO Aretsou Kalamaria KAOH Europe 87, Aias Evosmou were placed.
Through the play-offs process, the champion teams of the three Groups will gain promotion to the Elite League (A2 National), while the runners-up will have one more chance as they will claim a promotion ticket in play-off matches (between themselves).
Accordingly, a total of 6 teams, two from each Group, will be relegated to National League 2 (National League 3) through the play-outs process.
In the promotion play-offs the results from the regular season are not carried over, while in the relegation play-outs the results from the regular season are carried over.
The draw for the championship games will be held on Wednesday 24 July at 11.00 at the EEC offices.
