In the East of Russia, a strike of Wildberries employees began – March 15, 2023

In the Far East and Siberia on the morning of March 15, some pick-up points (PIU) of the Wildberries online store did not open.

According to IA ZabNews, 14 points were closed in Chita, and several more in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Chita employees say they will come to their workplaces, but they will close the doors and will not let anyone inside. They demand the abolition of unfair, in their opinion, fines.

“Now more than 6,000 managers are on strike, from Crimea to Sakhalin. In Transbaikalia, there are strikes at pickup points in Zabaikalsk, Balei, Mogoytuy, Pervomaisk and, as I understand it, in Petrovsk-Zabaikalye, ”one of the pickup point managers told the publication.

According to MK, offices were also closed in Irkutsk and the Far East. Several points do not work in Vladivostok, news agency reports PrimaMedia. “Closed” signs hang at the entrance, claims are asked to be sent to the Wildberries management. ASN24 reports that the same thing is happening in Blagoveshchensk.

“What happened to the Wildberries? Today they came to pick up the parcel at 43/1, Studencheskaya, and the doors were closed there, when they started to pull the doors, a girl looked out and said that she would not give the parcels back, because they were not paid a salary, ”said a resident of the city.

Employees are on strike because of fines and the inability to get paid. Points of Wildberries in St. Petersburg also joined the protest. In the company itself, as reported TASSclaimed that the information about the closure of distribution points and strikes is not true and the points continue to work as usual.
