Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Ekhbariya channel presented a report that monitors egg prices in the Gulf countries and compares them to the local market.
The report indicated that the price of an egg dish in the Kuwaiti market reached 13 riyals for a large dish of high quality, and thus the price is lower than the Saudi market.
In Bahrain, the price of eggs in the market reached 16 riyals, yet it remains a few riyals less than the Saudi market.
In the UAE, the price of eggs reached 23 riyals, which is the only price comparable to the prices in Saudi Arabia, while the price in the Sultanate of Oman reached 34 riyals.
And the commentator on the report concluded: “Is the rise in eggs only, or are there products on the way to increase?”
