Al-Marsad newspaper: A consultant in chest diseases and sleep medicine, Dr. Ahmed Bahamam, revealed a dangerous habit that many people do that causes heart and liver diseases.

Bahamam said, during an interview on the “Sawalif Ramadan” program, “Delaying sleep and eating throughout the night is considered an unhealthy habit,” explaining: “A lot of eating at night leads to weight gain, increased heart disease, and the risk of diabetes and cirrhosis of the liver.”

He pointed out: “The Saudi Public Health Authority recommended that there be two main meals during the night, which are breakfast and the suhoor meal, and there may be a light meal between them, which leads to health and weight loss.”
