Al-Marsad newspaper: The spokesperson for the Slum Treatment Project in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Dr. Amjad Maghribi, revealed today, Thursday, the number of members of the Barmawi community in “Goz Al-Nakasa” whose legal status has been corrected.
In an interview with the “An-Nahar” program on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, “Maghrabi” said: “With regard to the legal aspect of the slum dwellers in (Gouz Al-Nakasa), the target group is the Bermawi group.”
He added: “By providing the opportunity to correct their conditions, we reached 8,000 people with their families, who were Barmawis, and their status was corrected and their integration was corrected, and their residency was legally corrected.”
Maghribi added, “The rest of the residents of the settlements in Makkah Al-Mukarramah were given the opportunity to complete their papers through (Absher) to improve their legal conditions.”
