Including Lebanon… Saudi Arabia prevents its citizens from traveling to 16 countries

On Saturday, the Saudi authorities revealed a list of 16 countries to which travel is prohibited for reasons related to the outbreak of the new Corona virus, although many countries have removed travel restrictions related to Covid-19.

The list includes Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, India, Yemen, Somalia, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Libya, Indonesia, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus, and Venezuela, according to the newspaper, “”Okaz“Local.

Despite the return of flights between the two countries recently, Turkey is the most prominent destination on the Saudi list.

And the General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia had issued instructive instructions to citizens before traveling during the upcoming summer vacation season, including the necessity of receiving three doses of the anti-Covid-19 vaccine for adults who do not have an exception to vaccination.

The Directorate clarified that the validity of the passport should be 3 months when traveling to Arab countries, and more than 6 months to other countries, in addition to the validity of 3 months for the identity card for travel to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
