Incotep invests in rotors for helical metal pile solutions

Incotep, a company in the Açotubo Group, announces the acquisition of hydraulic rotors for solutions in helical metal piles, used in geotechnical works, such as infrastructure and energy generation and transmission projects. The initiative is part of the set of investments budgeted at R$36 million planned for this year by the company.

The helical pile is a foundation solution that has an innovative feature, as it does not require the use of concrete for installation. Therefore, it can be applied in flooded regions, with low resistance soils. The installation process only requires the rotor and torque wrench to be coupled to a hydraulic power machine, such as a backhoe.

“Having a rotor and torque wrench in our rental equipment portfolio allows us to deliver projects with greater reliability and lower cost,” says Anderson Alencar, commercial supervisor at Incotep.

Filipe Lima, engineering analyst at Incotep, explains that the rotor connects to the digital torque meter, a device that transfers pile installation data to devices such as tablets and smartphones, allowing the information to be stored in a virtual environment.

“It is equipment that provides strength and rotation conditions for the installation of piles. With the integrated solution, we have real-time monitoring of torque, depth, rotation, angle and geopositioning, which is important to ensure that the executive project requirements are met in the field, ensuring the quality and performance of the solution”, he explains.

The novelty is part of the strategy to facilitate the construction routine of customers who, in addition to helical piles, can find solutions such as self-injecting rods, monobars, clamps, tendons and threading. Technical support services, from the executive project to training in the use and maintenance of equipment, are also part of Incotep’s scope of action.
