Last weekend, the Let’s do it, the festival came to an end! third season in which Charlie Look to the sky became a hit by the winner Freddie. The young talent in Duna’s Család-barát show he told me regarding his memories of the song, but to his surprise, the original performer of the ballad, Charlie, also joined the interview.
Charlie’s work means a lot to me, I think he is the best Hungarian male performer and voice of all time. Compared to him, the way I perform the song on stage is somewhat limited.
– explained Freddie, who added: he is aware of how important this song is to many, he also has a lot of childhood memories attached to it.
“The music reminded me of my childhood, the old apartment I grew up in jumped in, and at one point I had to command my memories to stop so I might sing the song. There was a moment in the semi-final when I thought of my grandmother, but there was a transition in the choreography during which I was able to organize my thoughts.” he admitted.
The Ferenc Liszt Prize-winning Hungarian singer then walked into the studio and congratulated his colleague on his superbly performed production:

Charlie praised the young singer.
