He also pointed out that this is a strategy of the Liberal Party and Prime Minister Trudeau to keep Punjabis with them in the next election.
“Elections are coming. The aim is to bring as many people there as possible from India. Most people from Punjab are in Canada. This will not affect those who are currently there or those who are about to leave. These discussions will be active till the elections are over. It is the need of the present government to keep the Punjabis together.”- said Denny Thomas.
Denny Thomas also stated that if Justin Trudeau and his party want to win the election, the support of Punjabis is essential. “Because they support Trudeau and the party, they will only respond in a positive way to Punjabis. The Punjabi community in Canada had accused India of being behind Nijjar’s murder. It is the need of Punjabis to arrest the murderers. The Government of Canada gives priority to protecting their interests,” he said.

Three and a half times the size of India, the country is sparsely populated. There are three and a half million people in Canada. Among them, two crore people are over 60 years of age.
