Indian Artist Tunisha Sharma suicide on set. The incident occurred exactly two weeks after he broke up with his girlfriend, Sheezan Khan.
This made Sheezan Khan’s name dragged into the death of Tunisha Sharma. Quoted from the Indian Express, Tunisha’s mother, Vanita, said Sheezan Khan played with her child before she died.
“First, he had a relationship with her and said he would marry her, then broke up with her (Tunisha),” said Vanita.
“He was already involved with another woman, but had a relationship with Tunisha and used her for 3-4 months. He must be punished for that,” he continued.
On this accusation, Sheezan Khan was arrested by the police. He then underwent an examination.
“Tunisha Sharma was working as an actress in a television series. Tunisha and Sheezan Khan had an off-site relationship,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav.
“They broke up 15 days ago, after which Tunisha died by suicide on the set of her show,” Jadhav continued.
The family side Sheezan Khan spoke up on this matter. In a statement released by Falaq and Shafaq, the older brother, asked the public to respect the family’s privacy in this difficult time.
“To all those who have tried to contact us for a statement regarding this case, please give our family some privacy regarding this sad situation,” Falaq and Shafaq said.
“We have full faith in the Indian justice system, and Sheezan was cooperative with the police in going through the entire procedure. We will discuss this when the time is right. But for now, please give us the privacy our family deserves.”
It is known that Tunisha Sharma suffered from depression before she died. The young Bollywood star admits that there are several things that make him depressed, one of which is because he has been working since childhood.
“At that time I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I remember when I just started treatment, I turned into a zombie. I hated going to work,” said Tunisha Sharma in an interview in 2021.
“Social media started to affect me too, I was substituting a player in a show and I started getting hate comments. It was hurting me,” he added.
