Indian female star says her bag was stolen from her hotel room; Criticism of England Cricket Board

Indian women’s cricket team wicketkeeper Tania Bhatia said that her bag was stolen from her room in the hotel where she stayed on England tour. The player informed about this through his Twitter handle and criticized the security provided by the England Cricket Board.

“I feel disappointed in the management of Marriott Hotel in London. Someone entered my room and stole a bag containing money, cards, watches and jewellery. Feels very insecure. We hope to investigate and resolve this issue as soon as possible. How bad is the security provided by England Cricket Board’s hotel partners.’- Tania wrote on Twitter.

India swept the ODI series against England. India thrashed England by 16 runs in the third ODI and gave senior pacer Jhulan Goswami a well-deserved send off. Jhulan ended his international career with this match. India, who batted first in the match, were bowled out for 169 runs, while England’s innings, which came into bat in reply, was limited to 153 runs. England’s last wicket was taken by Deepti Sharma who mankaded Charlotte Dean. Charlotte also became the first batter to be dismissed after Mankading was run out for a foul.
