A Infinix launched this Tuesday (5) the HOT 40 line, which brings three new models for users: HOT 40i, HOT 40 and HOT 40 Pro, offering options that reach the entry, intermediate and high-end segments. This announcement expands the brand’s presence in the global market by bringing updates to the processor, screen, camera features and software.
In a press address, Infinix HOT Series Product Director Summer Yao said, “The HOT 40 SERIES leads the way with its exceptional performance and innovative features, all packaged in an aesthetically stunning design.”, highlighting the improvements to models in this category.

Infinix HOT 40 Pro
The Infinix 40 Pro, the heaviest model in the line, shares the same design and construction as its “brothers”, arriving with eye-catching colors and premium structure. It has a display with FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a feature highly appreciated by gamers in games compatible with this technology.
Moving on to the internal hardware, the model is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 processor — 2.2 GHz octa-core and 6 nm lithography — with the Mali-G57 MP2 GPU up to 16 GB of RAM, 8 GB of which is soldered + 8 GB virtual. This configuration scored 412,926 points on the AnTuTu 10 testing platform.
In terms of cameras, the HOT 40 Pro comes with a 108 megapixel main sensor (HM6) followed by a 2 MP macro lens ideal for photographing close objects. On the front, there is a 32 MP camera with artificial intelligence (AI) that improves image post-processing by correcting shadow areas and adjusting HDR.
The HOT 40 Pro is available in Horizon Gold, Starlit Black, Palm Blue and the recently launched Starfall Green. The line costs around US$200, something around R$990 in direct conversion.
